About

Hi, I'm Ryan.

About 20 years in IT, and I still get a kick out of watching infrastructure hum after I've had my hands on it.

I've worked inside an MSP, on the vendor side selling and delivering infrastructure overhauls, and in-house running IT for a global company. So I know how it goes at an MSP: client projects compete with the ticket queue, and your senior people are always booked.

That's where I come in. I take a scoped project off your plate, do the work myself, and hand it back with documentation your team can use. No handoffs to juniors, no surprises on hours.

What I'm good at

Connecting systems. Hunting bottlenecks.

I get the right monitoring in place first, fix the actual problem, and then prove it worked. I've also been early more than once, from virtualization in 2006 to private AI agents today.

Where I work

Lima, on your hours

I'm based in Lima, Peru. Lima is on UTC−5 all year, so my workday lines up with US business hours. I work remotely with MSPs across the US.

Off the clock

I learn by taking things apart

I've swapped an engine, rebuilt a fuel system, and replaced a clutch in my own garage. Same approach as IT: dig into the system until it makes sense, then make it work.

Let's talk

Let's talk about your project.

Tell me what's stuck. I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right person for it.
